AI Character Cards: Create, Import, and Chat With Roleplay Characters
An AI character card is a reusable roleplay profile that tells a chatbot who a character is, how they speak, what scenario they are in, and how the first scene begins. DZMM uses this idea to connect character creation, chat, stories, and creator publishing.
What goes into an AI character card?
| Field | Purpose | Example use |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Identifies the character | Used in search, cards, and chat headers |
| Persona | Defines voice, traits, motivations, and boundaries | Keeps replies consistent |
| Scenario | Sets place, relationship, and conflict | Starts the roleplay with context |
| Greeting | Creates the first message | Controls tone and opening momentum |
| Image | Gives the card a visual identity | Supports discovery and character recognition |
Character card workflow
- Write the persona and roleplay boundaries.
- Add a scenario that creates a clear first scene.
- Create a greeting that invites the user to respond.
- Add tags and an image so the character can be discovered.
- Publish, test, and update based on user interaction.
